Partners

We partner with other networks and organisations whereby we have a more formal agreement to support the development of our network and communities.

When partnering, we enter to a more formal arrangement of working together. This partnership agreement is then reviewed regularly by the network committee.

ECnet (Early Career Networking Group)

ECnet is a voluntary organisation that provides services to early career networks through volunteers.

The organisation provides services including marketing, social media management, event organisation and technical services, amongst other services.

Volunteers from ECnet are often behind the scenes for our events, and they are more than likely to be acting as a contact point for speakers and attendees.

Teach First

As part of their ongoing commitment for development of community, Teach First have developed a team of individuals who lead on and support the development of networks.

The charity invests heavily in terms of time and resources (human, physical and monetary) to support the development of networks.

Step Up benefits from networking with fellow networks, collaborations, representation and events and training and development for network leaders and our wider volunteer team.

You can find out more about the range of networks that Teach First supports by clicking here to visit their website.

EdConnect

EdConnect is our sister network and also founded by our founder. EdConnect is a global grassroots network for early career professionals in education with the firm belief that every early career educator should be able to thrive and not just survive.

The network launched in 2020 during the UK Coronavirus lockdown. The network then went onto host several virtual events to support those new to education.

The network has recently re-established itself with a new network committee. EdConnect is very much aligned to our values and also forms part of ECnet, and we regularly work together.

You can visit their website here as well as following them on Twitter and Instagram.

HeadSphere

HeadSphere was created by Gemma Drinkall and is a coaching, training and supervision based service that empowers middle leaders to create clear boundaries so that they can prioritise their needs in order to not only be a great teacher, middle leader and colleague but also enjoy the work-life balance they deserve.
“When you pour from a full cup, not only do you thrive but those around you thrive too.” – Gemma
