One of our volunteers, Nikki, who is a deputy headteacher and director of a research school, featured on a podcast talking all things pupil premium and how to have the most positive impact on our most disadvantaged pupils.

We were very fortunate to have an exhibitor stall in the marketplace of ResearchEd South West, their first event in April 2024.
Teach First Great Ambassador Gathering
To celebrate 20 years of Teach First, we featured within the networks fringe zone, shortly after our launch event. We met so many great ambassadors, Teach First staff and other network leads also.
Talks & Presentations
Birmingham City University
Ben presented at his former university in January 2024 on developing your career to third year primary education students. He will be presenting again in December 2024 on the topic of career pathways.
Diverse Educators
Ben presented on Diversifying Leadership at the DiverseEd Midlands event in July 2024.
Empathy Week 2024
Utha represented the network and spoke at the Empathy Week 2024 event held at Canva HQ in London during March 2024.
The Mercian Trust
We provided two pro-bono presentations to the Mercian Trust, a multi-academy trust of secondary schools in the Midlands. Ben and Elaine provided a short YouTube clip for their leadership development work. Utha then ran a workshop for their trust wide INSET day.
