We recognise that less is more and we want to focus on providing more succulent information at regular, planned intervals rather than spamming across social media. We will update you in some ways we will do this after our strategy day on 17th January.

Stepping Up to Headship Webinar

Our rescheduled webinar will be taking place on Thursday 5th February from 4.30pm. We will be joined by a fantastic line up including Jonathan Coy, Kate Owbridge, Kate Smith, Krissi Carter, Mumin Humayun, Nadine Bernard and Shahista Zamir. With two panels taking place focussing on the life of a headteacher and supporting headteachers through empowerment. We’re pleased to have representation from Aspiring Heads CIC, Heads Up 4 HTs and Headteacher Chat.

Manchester Lead Meet

Our northern face-to-face event this year will be taking place on Saturday 28th February in Manchester. Returning to the city where we sold out an event nearly two years ago. You can engage in workshops from Akeim Mundell BEM, Elliot Hahn, Gary Pykitt, Kyrstie Stubbs, Shaheen Myers and Shanaz Hussain as well as experience coaching circles from Stephanie Carlin and Vicki Maguire.

International Women’s Day Celebration

Another event we held two years ago was our IWD Virtual Celebration. This was our most popular virtual event. We’re pleased to be bringing this event back after many people within our community asked for us to focus on ‘women in leadership’ as part of our event and content offer. We’re pleased that guest hosts, Claire Platt and Mubina Hussein will be co-hosting and curating this event. They will be joined by Christalla Jamil, Helen Claire, Nadirah Khan and Joanna Tompkins.

Step Up CPD – Difficult Conversations and Delivering Feedback

We’ve listened – lots of you lovely people asked for more CPD style online events rather than just webinars. Therefore, based on the back of some of our face-to-face events we’ve planned in two sessions so far this academic year. The first of which is taking place in March. There are only 15 places available so secure your space quickly.

March will see us join in with the Institute of Leadership’s International Leadership Week in late March.
