Statement from the Step Up Network Committee and Social Enterprise Team

Over the past few years, Step Up Network CIC has grown into a thriving community dedicated to helping people step up in their careers, leadership, and confidence. We’re incredibly proud of the connections made, events delivered, and impact achieved together.

Like many volunteer-led organisations, we’ve reached a moment where it feels right to pause, reflect, and reimagine what’s next. To ensure Step Up’s long-term sustainability and relevance, we’ll be pausing all Step Up activity between November 2025 and February 2026. This will not affect our Inclusive Recruitment Webinar which we are hosting in collaboration with the Belonging Effect on Tuesday 9th December 2025 and it will not affect our Manchester Lead Meet on Saturday 28th February 2026.

During this time, there will be no events or programmes taking place — instead, we’ll be taking time to listen, evaluate, and plan for the future. You will still be able to purchase tickets for events, our website will stay open and you will still be able to contact volunteers. We will be conducting market research with our community to see what our community want from us so we can focus on providing the very best experience for our supporters and followers.

This isn’t goodbye — it’s a strategic pause to ensure we continue making a difference in the best way possible.

We’ll return in early 2026 with a clear plan for the next chapter — whether that’s a refreshed Step Up format, new collaborations, or a different kind of impact journey.
